The primary purpose of the JDLink™ M Modem - 4G is to collect machine data from CAN, based on predetermined data collection lists, and repackage that data into formats required by cellular or Wi-Fi. The JDLink™ M Modem - 4G will also configure the cellular modem or Wi-Fi module to transmit data through the proper network, for viewing by customers on a website.
