Founded in 2003, Sequans is headquartered in France and operates globally, with offices in the United States, United Kingdom, Switzerland, Israel, Finland, Taiwan, and China.


Sequans is a leading semiconductor company specializing in wireless 4G/5G cellular technology for the Internet of Things (IoT). Our engineers design and develop innovative, secure, and scalable technologies that power the next generation of AI-connected applications – including secured payment, smart mobility and logistics, smart cities, industrial, e-health, and smart homes. We offer a comprehensive portfolio of solutions, including integrated circuits (IC) of baseband processors and radio frequency (RF) transceivers, modules, software, and protocol stacks. Our LTE-M/NB-IoT, 4G LTE Cat 1bis, and 5G NR RedCap/eRedCap platforms are purpose-built for IoT, delivering breakthroughs in wireless connectivity, power efficiency, security, and performance. Our Offerings

CHIPSET

  • Monarch 2 SQN3430: LTE-M, NB-IoT & GNSS single-chip purpose-built for LPWA applications.
  • Monarch 3 SQN5430: Currently in development. This next-generation will support 5G NR eRedCap and LTE-M into a single, ultra-optimized chip.
  • Calliope 2 SQN3530: The SQN3530 is the second-generation Calliope chipset supporting low-power modes while delivering data rates of up to 10 Mbps downlink.
  • Calliope 3 SQN4530: Currently in development. This next-generation will support 5G NR eRedCap and 4G LTE Cat 1bis into a single, ultra-optimized chip.
  • Cassiopeia SQN3220: Designed for the highest performance. Cassiopeia supports single and dual carrier aggregation of up to 40 MHz total bandwidth and delivers category 1, 4 and 6 throughput.
  • Taurus LT: Currently in development. It supports dual-mode 5G NR RedCap and 4G LTE Cat 4—delivering a seamless, future-ready path from 4G to 5G.
